Episode Overview

Sharon and Maria have attended Camp Kookalah year after year, both eager to become counselors. This time, however, Sharon gets the opportunity first due to her age, leaving Maria feeling overshadowed. As Sharon embraces her new role, she unintentionally belittles Maria, who is struggling with her own disappointment. The dynamics of their friendship shift, forcing both girls to confront their feelings and redefine what it means to support one another in a competitive environment.
