Episode Overview
Alden is employed at a meat processing facility to fund his band and persuades Sharon to take a position in the office. Although hesitant, she accepts the job but soon turns vegetarian and resigns when her braces start to pick up disturbing noises from the adjacent slaughterhouse. She tries to convince Alden to leave as well, but becomes frustrated when he refuses. However, her annoyance fades when a fundraiser barbecue for Alden’s band is announced. Despite her principles being challenged by her rival Nina, Sharon decides to attend to propose a meat-free option. An altercation with Nina accidentally destroys Alden's guitar, leaving Sharon guilt-ridden. Fortunately, Alden bears no grudge and shares that he received a raise, allowing him to purchase a new guitar.
