Episode Overview
Conner is saved from a blaze at "Life Cycles" by Alyson's father. Grateful, Conner encourages Alyson to express her thanks to him, prompting Alyson to recognize how great a friend Conner is. Empowered, she confronts Nina, declaring her exhaustion with always being her subordinate. This leads to a decision to end their friendship, and Alyson embraces Conner, Sharon, and Maria as her true best friends. When Sharon and Maria sneakily use Alyson's ticket to Nina's recital, they sabotage her performance by cutting her dress straps. Feeling compelled to help, Alyson discovers the sabotage, causing Nina to break down in tears, which angers Alyson toward her friends. Ultimately, Alyson chooses to forgive Sharon and Maria, wanting to maintain their friendship.
