To assert her independence from typical feminine stereotypes, Sharon takes the initiative to create an all-girl rock band for a battle of the bands competition hosted by a women's magazine. Excited by the chance to craft their stage outfits, Dion eagerly joins in. However, when the male band Mangled Metal learns of the contest's female-only rule, they concoct a plan to masquerade as women to compete for the coveted music gear. As the girls embrace a tougher persona, the guys transform into over-the-top pop divas, dubbing themselves the Mangled Petals. Chaos erupts when the truth is revealed at the concert, leading to unexpected hilarity.
