Bored with her mundane life, Sharon yearns for a significant shift. When her father reveals he's relocating with his girlfriend, Lauren, Sharon surprisingly embraces the change while her brothers grumble. The allure of their trendy loft lifestyle excites her. However, when she learns that Lauren's troubled fifteen-year-old son, Griffin, has been expelled from boarding school and will also be moving in, Sharon believes her dull days are behind her. Attracted to Griffin's rebellious nature, she decides to join her dad and Lauren. Ultimately, she realizes that the allure of this new life isn't as appealing as it seemed, and Griffin isn't the ideal companion she hoped for.
