After a hockey puck accidentally strikes Alden on the head, he becomes convinced that he is still in a relationship with Sharon. Under doctor's advice to avoid startling him, Sharon and their friends play along with his mistaken belief until he regains clarity. Meanwhile, Marlo feels increasingly frustrated and jealous as she watches Alden cozy up to Sharon, while Sharon herself is taken aback by how much she relishes revisiting their past connection.
