Tom is selected to lead a journalism class at the university, where he becomes particularly impressed by one dedicated student balancing work and studies. Meanwhile, Nicholas and Irving are busy making prank calls when they receive one from David and Tommy in return. Tom feels let down when Nancy drops out of college and opts to seek employment, and she isn't pleased when he tries to use his connections to help her return. Ultimately, Tom steps up to assist her in securing a job interview.
