Murphy faces a biopsy that she agrees to have done immediately, anxiously awaiting the results set to arrive the following day. The next morning, the team battles with the network's lawyers, who want to scrap their grocery chain story. As a compromise, they can proceed if a legal consultant is present in the remote unit, which means Jim has to film promos for all the local affiliates. When their undercover operative falls through and Frank doubts his ability to go unnoticed, Kay steps up to take on the role. Later that evening, just before dinner, Murphy receives her test results and shares the news with Frank.
