Episode Overview

During a field trip with Avery, Murphy encounters a younger man interested in taking her out. Meanwhile, the staff is anxious about the upcoming Humboldt Awards, realizing that no one has been nominated except for Murphy, who is set to receive a lifetime achievement award. While she feels honored, she worries that her illness may be the reason for this recognition at this stage in her life. Despite her concerns, Murphy decides to go on a date with the young man and starts to have fun. However, her friends are hesitant about him, and Murphy feels self-conscious about bringing him to the awards ceremony.
