Murphy Brown (1988)

Episode Overview

Kay starts asserting her authority by enforcing the wardrobe policy, claiming the coffee island, and hosting story meetings in her office. Murphy pushes back, rallying the rest of the team behind her, despite their appreciation for Kay's story assignments. As they all eventually yield, Murphy remains resolute and confronts Kay, asserting her dominance. However, the true puppet master is revealed. Murphy decides to take Kay's story idea about moderating the Presidential debates, only to learn that the rest of the staff have abandoned their own stories. In response, Kay offers her assistance to retrieve them, while Murphy prepares for battle.
