Episode Overview

Alice feels uneasy about the visit from her sister, Miranda, who has come to New York in search of a job. She starts working at "Mattress in an Hour," making deliveries. At a party hosted by Duke, Miranda finds herself smitten with him but becomes self-conscious over a flaw. As the clock strikes midnight, she flees, leaving Duke determined to discover the mystery woman who fits her slipper. When he mistakenly identifies Doris as the one, Jay steps in to help bring Duke and Miranda back together.
