Down on his luck and struggling with career setbacks, Pete seeks help from Artie Lange, who offers him a spot on his podcast. While there, he encounters Sarah Silverman, who feels sorry for him and offers him a place to stay alongside her group of eccentric comedian friends. Sarah encourages Pete to explore a role as an audience “warm-up” comedian, leading him to a chance to prove himself in a job that could turn everything around.
