Episode Overview
The Others thwart Sawyer and Kate's attempts to break free, leaving Sawyer bewildered by the lengths they go to in order to keep them captive. Meanwhile, Jack is called upon to utilize his medical expertise to rescue an injured member of the Others. On the beach, Desmond's odd actions catch the eye of the group as he starts to assemble an enigmatic machine.
