Once the last of the survivors come together, Sawyer and Jack devise a strategy to draw the Man in Black away, aiming to escape the island aboard Widmore's submarine. However, their plan leads to unforeseen and dire outcomes. Meanwhile, in the flash sideways, Jack looks into the reason behind Locke's paralysis and proposes a treatment to help him.
