Æon Flux (1991)

Episode Overview

Trevor has captured a pair of humanoid birds known as Seraph-Trevs, one male and one female, and is trying to charm the female. Meanwhile, another scientist, Ilbren, has his own plans for her, even attempting to recruit Æon to help him seize the female in exchange for the male. Their conversation is suddenly disrupted by a mechanical tentacle, which Ilbren battles off using a swarm of robotic wasps. The male Seraph-Trev, trapped in a separate cell, is left in deep despair from being apart from his partner. Determined to rescue them from Ilbren and Trevor, Æon enlists her old friend Una to help decode the location of the birds' chambers. Una, who shares Æon's social awkwardness, has unexpectedly developed feelings for the male bird.
