Episode Overview

Detective Benson looks after young Calvin while she tirelessly searches for his mother, Vivian, who is battling addiction. As the investigation unfolds, Detective Stabler observes the deepening connection between Benson and the boy. When Vivian's name surfaces in a rape case, Captain Cragen decides to assign Detectives Fin and Munch to handle it. Nevertheless, Cragen's orders won't easily deter Benson from pursuing her quest to find Calvin's mother.
