Episode Overview

Debbie Shields returns home to a nightmare, discovering her partner Ann Jackson being assaulted by a masked intruder. In a panic, Debbie calls Ann's father to inform him of her dire state. While detectives Benson and Stabler question Captain Jackson, they uncover his troubling history of substance abuse and sexual issues. As Jackson navigates his new position as a sex therapist, he becomes an obstacle in the investigation, complicating the detectives' efforts to extract vital information. If Jackson remains uncooperative, Benson and Stabler may need to think outside the box to crack the case.
