Episode Overview

Fourteen years back, Stabler had the opportunity to bring Gordon Rickett to justice for the abduction, rape, and murder of Dana MacNamara, but Rickett escaped conviction. With the recent finding of Kerry Lynn Palmer's body, Stabler sees a new chance to pursue the case. Though they can only detain Rickett for twenty-four hours, they manage to extract valuable information during that time, giving them a starting point. Cragen and Benson are concerned that Stabler's intense animosity towards the accused child molester might cloud his judgment and impact his work.
