Episode Overview

When young Sean Hamill is found stabbed in the schoolyard, detectives quickly focus on Charlie Monaghan, an older boy with a history of conflict with Hamill. However, their investigation soon shifts to Charlie's half-sister, Emma Boyd. For months, Sean had bullied Emma due to her having two mothers. After securing a favorable deal for Emma’s testimony, Benson and Stabler are caught off guard when Emma's biological grandparents accuse Zoe, who never legally adopted Emma, of sexually abusing her, and the evidence appears to back up these serious allegations.
