Title: Susan Plot: Raised in a strict Mormon family, Susan's life took a dark turn after she sustained a back injury as an adult and was given OxyContin for relief. The painkiller not only alleviated her physical suffering but also dulled the painful memories of her troubled childhood and a recent breakup. As her reliance on the drug grew, she became addicted, and when her doctor cut her off, she resorted to heroin. After losing custody of her young son and being fired, Susan found herself homeless and forced to return to her estranged family, where her substance abuse spiraled further out of control.
