Episode Overview

Title: Nicole Plot: Following a traumatic childhood experience of molestation, Nicole developed a rare eating disorder that rendered her unable to swallow. By the time she turned 16, her weight had plummeted to a mere 68 pounds, prompting doctors to place a feeding tube in her stomach. What was intended to be a short-term solution has persisted for 16 years, leaving Nicole dependent on the tube for nourishment. Struggling with prescription drug abuse, she also fails to care for her two daughters. Her husband, increasingly frustrated, considers divorce if she continues to prioritize her struggles over their children.
