Episode Overview

A pilot is blinded by a laser, leading to the dramatic crash of a jet loaded with $1.2 billion in checks destined for eastern seaboard banks. Investigating the scene, the team discovers the body of a young socialite who was murdered before the crash. With the victim's affluent family resisting an autopsy, Horatio faces challenges in tracking the financial leads. Concurrently, Calleigh collaborates with her former boyfriend, Detective Hagen, but their past relationship threatens to complicate the investigation for both of them.
