Episode Overview

Billie Jo comes into possession of a $500 insurance policy her late father earmarked for her medical education. However, her dreams lie in Hollywood, where she aspires to be an actress. In an effort to sway her, Kate enlists the help of Hooterville's longtime physician, Dr. Depew, believing that his charming new assistant, Dr. Clayton Harris, could have an even greater influence on Billie Jo. To facilitate this, Kate concocts a plan using Uncle Joe as a pretend patient, hoping Dr. Harris will invite Billie Jo to assist during a mock examination. Unfortunately, she faints at the sight of blood.
