Christine encourages Cathy to experience a natural birth on all fours without any pain relief. Meanwhile, Grandpa Larkin tries to convince Cathy to come back home. Martha and Detective Johnson devise a plan to catch the Renquists on tape, but Jack sees through their strategy. In a twist, Mary disrupts Tom's adoption party by revealing that Cathy has decided not to give up her baby. In response, Tom gets Mary intoxicated and attempts to seduce her, hoping to create a child of their own.
