Episode Overview

In Episode 171, Mary shocks Jody and Loretta by revealing that Charlie has been arrested for animal cruelty. While in jail, Dr. Fratkis drops a bombshell on Charlie about the true identity of his transplant donor. Meanwhile, Merle meets with Tom to resolve their issues and pleads with him to keep his affair with Annie a secret from Wanda. Later, both Merle and Jody try to support Loretta during this difficult time. The episode takes a dramatic turn when Charlie calls home and tells Loretta he will never return.
