Meanwhile, Reverend Standfast directs Martha to a deprogrammer to assist George in his escape from the Boga Zidi cult. In a bind, Tom seeks financial help from Merle, but Merle's funds are tied up in a new Seville. Meanwhile, Charlie and Loretta reconnect, and their fortunes seem to improve when they discover that Joe Sutonni has financed Loretta's album recording session in Dayton.
