Meanwhile, Merle and Wanda clash over Wanda's support of Mae's research. Frustrated by Clemens' article, the men at the plant decide to strategize a way to address gender issues. Mac takes a big step and proposes to Loretta. The Shumway family talks about their financial situation in relation to the Olinski report. Amidst the discussions, Charlie excitedly announces that Loretta has been located.
