Episode Overview

Heather and Little Garth wake up refreshed at the Gimble residence after a night of restful sleep. Meanwhile, Tom and the police confront Mary, criticizing her for being a working mother while her daughter is missing. Upon Heather's return home, Tom imposes strict rules, but Mary insists on going to work. Tension mounts as Loretta feels uneasy, and Mac's arrival only heightens the awkwardness. Mary lashes out at Cathy for her influence on Heather, causing the Shumways to take sides in the sisters' escalating conflict. Merle confides in Wanda about his feelings, only to be blindsided by Lila found in their bed.
