Episode Overview

Kate Bradley receives a telegram from Ralph Denton, an old flame, announcing his visit to the hotel. Uncle Joe suspects that Kate's casual demeanor reveals lingering feelings for him. When Ralph arrives, he brings along his meddling sister, Mabel, whose presence complicates matters. To allow Kate and Ralph some private moments, the girls and Uncle Joe strive to keep Mabel entertained. However, Joe's constant attention to Mabel inadvertently leads to a surprise marriage proposal, throwing everyone's plans into disarray.
