Episode Overview

As preparations for the Saturday dance unfold, Billie Jo and Bobbie Jo declare that they will only date either Steve or the new doctor, Don. With neither guy having asked anyone yet, Billie Jo feels entitled to the first pick as the eldest. Meanwhile, Betty Jo, feeling overlooked, is determined to take matters into her own hands by moving out and finding a job. Miscommunication leads to Billie Jo and Bobbie Jo attending the dance with Eb, while Betty Jo arrives with both Steve and Don. Eventually, the girls find themselves paired with the boys who are truly meant for them.
