Episode Overview
Billie Jo is thrilled when she learns that Sydney Sparks, the talent agent who approached her and Steve after their radio talent show victory, has arranged an audition for her at the Flamingo Room in Springdale. However, Kate is apprehensive about Billie Jo's decision to chase this career path. After the audition, Billie Jo is convinced she nailed it. Unfortunately, Kate soon discovers that Billie Jo wasn't selected for the role due to her lack of name recognition. With Uncle Joe and Sam's assistance, Kate devises a plan to persuade Mr. Austin, the Flamingo Room's manager, to reconsider. Meanwhile, Billie Jo, misinterpreting Uncle Joe's advice, risks sabotaging her own dreams of stardom.
