Episode Overview

Kate is taken aback when she receives a surprisingly kind note from Homer Bedloe, announcing his visit to the Shady Rest. Her instincts tell her to be wary. When Bedloe arrives, he maintains his charming demeanor, explaining that he’s there to oversee the transport of a prized racehorse from Hooterville to Pixley on the Cannonball. Racehorse owner Ray Rogers confirms that the horse is headed to a county fair. However, when Kate encounters the dilapidated creature they’re calling a racehorse, she realizes Bedloe and Rogers are up to something. Determined, Kate uncovers their plot and devises a clever plan to thwart them.
