Mayor Potts insists it should be held downtown, while Sam prefers the front of his store, Selma advocates for her garden, and Joe opts for the Shady Rest. As they gather in anticipation of Kate’s arrival at three o'clock in front of Sam's store, they discover a mix-up: Kate is actually arriving in Pixley. Amid the joyful chaos, Kate reflects, "There's no question about it, I'm home."
