Episode Overview

Steve is excited to take Betty Jo for a night out, but she hesitates, worried about leaving baby Kathy Jo with anyone. Dr. Craig reassures her that he, Uncle Joe, and Bobbie Jo can handle the baby at the hotel. Though she finally agrees, Betty Jo can't shake her anxiety over Kathy Jo's well-being. Meanwhile, Bobbie Jo dashes off for a forgotten date, and shortly after, Janet is called away for a medical emergency, leaving Uncle Joe in charge. Chaos ensues when a casual poker game turns into a situation involving Brisbane Snead, the local newspaper editor, and the sheriff. Janet must find a way to bail Uncle Joe and the baby out of jail before Steve and Betty Jo return.
