After attending a high school dance in Maniwaki, Quebec, best friends Maisy Odjick and Shannon Alexander disappear, leading authorities to wrongly assume they are simply runaways. Faced with minimal assistance from law enforcement, Maisy’s family rallies support from the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg community to intensify the search for the missing Indigenous teens.
