In California, a doctor’s reckless experiments with explosive fault line devices lead to catastrophic consequences, threatening to obliterate the state. Parker races against time to avert a tidal wave poised to claim the lives of over ten million individuals. However, complications ensue when he uses Backstep, inadvertently bringing a bizarre creature into the mix. This enigmatic being has the power to create temporal disturbances and harbors a distinct desire to annihilate Backstep itself, further complicating Parker's mission to save the day.
