Episode Overview

Molly has been assured that she can stay in her home with her daughters, even if Damgaard the grocer takes over the hotel. However, it soon becomes clear that the couple has ulterior motives. Mrs. Fjeldsø receives a distressing letter from her son in Sweden, prompting her sister Lydia to resort to unconventional tactics to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, Madsen becomes obsessed with stock trading following a surge in the American market, and Poul reconnects with a past romance. In the kitchen, Edith hatches a plan with the other girls to thwart Mrs. Andersen from finalizing the grocer's purchase.
