Carlotta and Rudy Aiuppo come back to America after hearing news about Amber. Carlotta doubts Amber's suitability for Vinnie. Meanwhile, Rudy approaches the Commission, declaring that Vinnie is under his protection, despite Vinnie's lack of involvement in the business. Frank is thrilled to discover Vinnie's connection to the Commission. Vinnie confesses to Amber that he's a police officer and then proposes to her. However, when Rudy is shot, Vinnie finds himself caught in the middle of an escalating mob conflict.
