A chair becomes infatuated with Samantha, causing havoc by targeting Darrin at every opportunity. The Cosgroves, new clients, are enamored with the chair, particularly Adelaide, who stubbornly refuses to let McMann and Tate finalize their contract. However, the chair develops a strong dislike for Adelaide's attitude. Determined to resolve the chaos, Samantha investigates and discovers that the chair is actually an old flame whom she turned down long ago.
