Endora casts a spell on Darrin, rendering him overly agreeable to everyone around him. This newfound compliance leads to his dismissal from McMann and Tate. When Samantha discovers what her mother has done, she confronts Endora and demands that she reverse the spell, hoping to restore Darrin's original personality and help him regain his job.
