In the grand finale of the quiz, Victoria Coren Mitchell poses the questions as the Belgophiles compete against either the Escapologists or the Inquisitors, aiming to dethrone last year's champions, the Verbivores, and claim the title of Only Connect series champions. The teams are challenged to employ patience, creative thinking, and flashes of insight to find connections among four seemingly unrelated items. One of the questions even asks what follows in the sequence: Caloris Montes, Skadi Mons, Mount Everest. This marks the final episode of the series.
