After Ethan finds himself accused of a major crime, he and Sutton flee the town and take refuge with his father, Ben, on the reservation where Ethan spent his childhood. As underlying tensions rise between father and son, Sutton steps in to mediate, finding unexpected value in witnessing a different side of Ethan that she hadn’t seen during their relationship. Meanwhile, Emma grapples with the fallout from Ethan’s predicament, as she is forced to fabricate a story about witnessing an event she didn't actually see.
