Episode Overview
After uncovering Sutton's true connection with Ethan, the Mercers urge her to have him over for dinner. Although Ethan is reluctant due to his evident feelings for Emma, he agrees. However, the evening is abruptly interrupted by an unsettling visit from Dan. While Emma and Ethan attempt to maintain peace in Arizona, Sutton and Thayer stumble upon startling discoveries in Los Angeles regarding the search for their birth mother. Although the results may not align with Sutton's expectations, they prompt her to question the secrets everyone around her has been keeping. Can Sutton uncover the truth behind her and Emma's separation, or will her quest for answers endanger herself and her loved ones? Meanwhile, Laurel finds herself attracted to a new guy at school, hoping to carve out her own identity away from Sutton's influence. However, her hopes are dashed when Char expresses interest in the one guy Laurel had hoped to keep for herself.
