Monkey (1978)

Episode Overview

As the pilgrims ascend the mountain, they encounter a man who has spent the last twenty-two years excavating a tunnel to create a more accessible path for travelers. Eager to assist, Tripitaka insists that his hesitant disciples must join in to complete the tunnel. However, when Monkey employs his magical abilities to expedite the work, Tripitaka becomes enraged and banishes him. Left without Monkey’s aid, the remaining pilgrims find themselves in serious peril.
