Episode Overview

Kane and Tom’s bond is put to the test when Stella's biological father, Liam, reappears. While Tom prefers to ignore the situation, believing Liam is trouble, Kane feels they should inform Liam about having a daughter. Their disagreement intensifies as Tom discovers a dead possum in their attic, leading to a barbecue that unexpectedly turns into a possum funeral. During this, Kane confides in Abi about his worries regarding Tom's avoidance of the truth. Together, they secretly arrange for a paternity test for Liam. Armed with the results about Stella’s lineage, Kane confronts Liam without Tom’s knowledge, jeopardizing their relationship. As Liam reveals his true nature, Kane and Tom fear they may lose their daughter. Meanwhile, Gemma is cleaning out her mother’s belongings when she runs into her old neighbor, Damo, whose mother is now with Gemma’s father.
