When Martinez and Medavoy stumble upon a bar robbery, Martinez is shot in the chaos. One of the robbers agrees to provide information in exchange for protection from the DA, causing frustration among James' coworkers. Meanwhile, Sylvia delivers some news to Sipowicz, and Simone and Russell make an attempt to mend their relationship.
