Episode Overview

Noel examines a seven-month-old fox red Labrador puppy suffering from lameness due to a joint condition known as osteochondritis dissecans. He informs the owner that while medication is an option, the puppy might ultimately need a full ankle replacement or joint fusion on both sides. Meanwhile, Jo has traveled 400 miles with her cherished four-year-old springer spaniel to seek Noel's expertise. The dog's kneecap repeatedly dislocates from the knee joint, and despite several past surgeries, the issues continue. After assessing the situation, Noel raises concerns about the potential development of osteoarthritis.
