The picturesque beach of Nags Head, NC, becomes the scene of tragedy when tourist Janet Siclari is found dead near her hotel. The cheerful atmosphere quickly shifts to one of concern. As a hurricane sweeps through, washing away potential clues, law enforcement worries that the murderer may have fled as well. The detectives realize that only the passage of time may reveal the identity of the killer.
