Episode Overview

When Andy is called away to testify in a court case in a nearby town, he entrusts the sheriff's department to Deputy Barney Fife. Seizing the opportunity to prove himself, Barney overzealously begins arresting nearly all of Mayberry's residents! As chaos ensues, it becomes clear that Barney's confidence may be a bit misplaced, leading to humorous situations around town as he tries to manage his newfound power.
