Episode Overview

Title: Cruel and Unusual Plot: Sam and the team delve into a string of strange murders linked to a charismatic murderer (guest star Gary Stretch) facing imminent execution. Among their main suspects is a passionate activist (guest star Kim Darby) who leads a candlelight vigil outside the prison as last-minute appeals are made to stop the execution. In a parallel storyline, the notorious serial killer dubbed Jack-of-all-trades constructs a roulette wheel featuring images of the entire VCTF team, with a single spin destined to choose his next target.
